A pleasant night out, the food was artfully presented on the plate and the taste matched. The evening went smoothly and the service professional and from the faces of the other diners they too looked content and the chef popped by to make sure everything was ok. Thank you Rails I'll be back soon.

About Rails

Rails was established in 2007 as part of the Hornsby Railway Hotels major renovations. The restaurant was designed to reflect a modern stylish character and ambience as well as having the comfort and functionality of a major restaurant. Our architects where given an unusual amount of artistic creativity to deliver a sophisticated and unassuming style that is unique to the area.

Since joining the new look Rails just over 12 months ago, head chef Sean Fitzgerald has used his experience in some of Sydney's top kitchens and a deep respect for fresh and home-made ingredients to create a menu that stands atop the local dining scene.

Rails specialises in modern Australian cuisine with international influences, which is beautifully captured by our chefs who are all trained in the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Rails philosophy is to offer an outstanding experience in every regard, whether it's for a special occasion or dinner with the family our quality and value will always impress.
